Number of Foreign Workers in Korea's IT Industry Expanding  |

New data by Seoul's Information and Communication Ministry show a healthy presence of foreign workers in Korea's IT industry. As of December, a total of 1,122 overseas workers were found to be involved in the domestic IT sector. Workers from India reportedly account for the largest number at 556, followed by Vietnam at 150. Other foreign IT workers hail from Russia, China, and the U.S.
Industry experts claim the findings are a clear indication of the rising regional interest in Korea's status as an IT powerhouse.
